The Governance of the ISS is vested in a dedicated and committed Board of Directors, comprised of a strong representation of diverse backgrounds, cultures and combined expertise in youth oriented community services, programs and activities.

Kingsley Pungong
Co-Founder

"Our commitment to sports is beyond a game. Our organization is focused on providing life-changing opportunities to African and Middle Eastern students aged 15-19, with both the sporting ability to excel and the academic ability to succeed at a US College or University"

Kingsley is a visionary Cameroonian-born entrepreneur and author whose career has spanned several territories including the African continent, the United Kingdom and the United States. Prior to launching Rainbow he led Wasserman Media Group’s Africa strategy and advised governments, leagues, sportswear manufacturers and professional football clubs in the UK, US, Europe, and Asia. Kingsley is also the co-Founder of the African Fighters League (AFL) and Dambe Warriors. Kingsley holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from De Montford University in the United Kingdom. He also holds a Masters in History from Harvard University, and several executive education degrees from Harvard Business School and Wharton Graduate School of Business.

Former MLS All Star and US national team football (soccer) player. Attended the University of Maryland on a sporting scholarship and coached both men’s and women’s university football teams. Accredited football agent. Has more than two decades experience creating pathways to the US for African sporting talents and is widely acknowledged in the US as an expert at identifying the most promising African student athletes.

Dr Hussa Al-Khalifa

"Evidence from a study conducted on women-focused Sport in Domestic Development programs in the Gulf Cooperation Council region illustrates an array of impacts produced at multiple levels of influence that relate to both sports and social development. These programs encompass short-term sport activities held within psychological and sociocultural safe spaces that promote a private, pressure-free setting for sport enjoyment."

Award-winning leader and women’s sports advocate with over two decades of board experience for Arabian Gulf and international football institutions. She is a board member of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and head of the Women’s committee at the Bahrain Football Association- where she was previously the first female board member.

We have an extensive scouting network and strong connections with schools and community sports clubs in many countries across Africa.
